If you are a beginner, we recommend getting to know other boards first, play around a little. However, if you think you are ready to get your very own custom surfboard, we can guide you through the ordering process.

This is a people to people process. So ideally we want to have a conversation with you so we can design your custom surfboard. Even give you a tour of the factory if you are local or close to Sayulita. Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, San Pancho and Bucerias are all a close drive to the Mainland Surfboard factory.

To begin, please schedule an appointment to chat. Our calendar with availability is listed below. During that conversation (either in person at the factory or over video call on WhatsApp), we will dial in on the board specifics. We then ask for a deposit to get the board started. This deposit secures your place in line and represents approximately 60% of the base price for a custom surfboard in your preferred model. Extra costs like gloss & polish finish, carbon, color(s) / artwork, resin stripes, panels, additional stringers etc. will be added to the balance due upon completion of the board.
