We specialize in custom surfboards.

And work with you to create something fresh. Design your own surfboard with Mainland. We customize the surfboard based on your height, weight, surf experience and past preferences. Whether this be motivation to push your skills to the next level, add the missing piece to your ever-growing quiver or even just some rad decor for your home. You decide and we can create a custom surfboard together.

    If you are planning a trip to Sayulita, contact us before your trip and we can have your board ready for your arrival to enjoy while in town (4-6 weeks advanced notice needed).

    Or design it with us in person at the shop - to be picked up once completed.

    Your order will be put in the production line once a deposit has been received.

  • Need some board rehab?

    WhatsApp us or schedule a time on our calendar to see the board and give you a quote on the ding repair. We charge per square inch.

  • We don’t discriminate - we can manufacture boards for other brands as well. We are a full fledged surfboard factory. So if you would like us to manufacture your brand, contact us and we can discuss the details further.

Javier Chavarria

Surfboard building started as a hobby and turned into a full-time career in 2013. He has been lucky enough to have worked professionally in San Diego and Oceanside, California with some of the most innovative shapers and made boards for the best surfers in the world.
